By hiring Echelon Casa Grande Deck Builder for your project, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you have questions or concerns about any of these terms, contact us before moving forward with your project. We want you to feel completely comfortable with our agreement.
These terms apply to all deck building, repair, and related services we provide. They are designed to protect both you and our business, and to make sure we have a clear understanding from the start.
We provide professional deck construction and related services in Casa Grande, AZ and surrounding areas. Our services include custom deck design and installation, composite and wood deck construction, deck repairs and restoration, railings, stairs, staining, sealing, and outdoor structures like pergolas and patio covers.
Each project begins with a consultation where we discuss your needs, create a design, and provide a written estimate. Once you approve the estimate and sign our contract, we schedule your project and begin work.
We provide detailed written estimates for all projects. Our estimates include labor, materials, permits, and any other costs we anticipate. We do our best to be accurate, but sometimes unexpected conditions arise that affect the final cost.
If we encounter unforeseen issues during your project, such as hidden structural damage or code compliance problems, we will notify you immediately and provide a revised estimate for the additional work. We will not proceed with changes that affect the price without your approval.
Our estimates are valid for 30 days. Material prices and availability can change, so we may need to adjust pricing if you delay your project beyond that timeframe.
We typically require a deposit to secure your project date and order materials. The deposit amount varies based on project size but is usually 30 to 50 percent of the total cost. Progress payments may be required for larger projects as work is completed. Final payment is due when the project is finished and you have approved the work.
We accept payment by check, cash, or credit card. If you pay by credit card, standard processing fees may apply. If payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, we reserve the right to pause work until your account is current.
Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law. If we need to involve a collection agency or attorney to collect payment, you agree to pay our reasonable collection costs and legal fees.
We provide an estimated timeline for your project based on its complexity and our current schedule. Most decks are completed within 3 to 10 days. We do our best to stick to the schedule, but factors beyond our control can sometimes cause delays.
Weather, material availability, permit processing, and unexpected site conditions can all affect timing. If your project is delayed for any reason, we will communicate with you and provide an updated timeline. We appreciate your patience when circumstances beyond our control affect the schedule.
We handle all necessary building permits for your project. Permit costs are included in your estimate. We work with local building departments to ensure your deck meets all applicable codes and regulations.
You are responsible for providing accurate property information and ensuring we have legal access to the work site. If there are HOA requirements or deed restrictions affecting your property, you must inform us before we begin work. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs related to undisclosed restrictions.
We stand behind our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all projects. If there are defects in our installation or construction, we will repair them at no charge within the warranty period. Our standard workmanship warranty is typically one to two years, depending on the scope of work.
Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties. Composite decking materials often come with 25-year or lifetime warranties against fading and staining. Wood products may have more limited coverage. We will provide you with all relevant manufacturer warranty information for the materials we install.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear. It also does not cover issues caused by modifications you or others make after we complete the project.
If you want to make changes to the project after work has begun, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Change orders must be submitted in writing and will be priced separately. We will provide a written estimate for any changes before proceeding.
Changes may affect your project timeline and final cost. We will explain how your requested changes impact both factors so you can make an informed decision.
You grant us permission to access your property during normal business hours to complete the work. You are responsible for ensuring our crew has clear access to the work area and a place to park our vehicles and store materials.
You should remove or protect any valuable landscaping, outdoor furniture, or decorations near the work area. While we take care to minimize damage, construction work can sometimes affect nearby plants or surfaces. We are not responsible for damage to items you have not moved or protected.
If you have pets, please keep them secured and away from the work area for their safety and the safety of our crew. If there are any hazards on your property, such as underground utilities or unstable ground, please inform us before work begins.
If you need to cancel your project after signing the contract, you must notify us in writing. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how much work has been completed and how much we have invested in materials and scheduling.
If you cancel before we order materials or begin work, we will refund your deposit minus a reasonable administrative fee. If materials have been ordered or work has begun, you are responsible for covering our actual costs incurred up to that point.
We reserve the right to cancel your project if you fail to make required payments, deny us access to the property, or violate these terms. In that case, you remain responsible for payment for work completed and materials purchased.
We carry comprehensive general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. This protects you in the unlikely event of property damage or injury during your project. You may request proof of insurance at any time.
We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, or other hidden features that are not properly marked or disclosed. You are responsible for having underground utilities marked before we begin excavation or installation work.
If you have any concerns or disputes during or after your project, please contact us directly first. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Most problems can be worked out through open communication.
If we cannot reach a resolution informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation costs will be shared equally. Any legal disputes will be resolved under the laws of the State of Arizona in the appropriate court in Pinal County.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your project is limited to the amount you paid for our services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost time, or emotional distress.
This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where prohibited by law.
We may take photos of your completed project for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials. If you prefer that we do not photograph your property or use images of your project, please let us know in writing.
These Terms of Service, along with your signed contract and estimate, represent the entire agreement between you and Echelon Casa Grande Deck Builder. They supersede any prior verbal or written agreements or understandings.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you sign your contract is the version that applies to your project.
